With each passing day, the general election of 2023 has drawn more and more attention and support, either directly or indirectly, from the political, religious, traditional, and other stakeholders in this great nation.
Abdulsalami Abubakar GCFR, the former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has expressed his opinion in the upcoming general election in 2023. He stated in his address that I believe it is best for the nation if the elderly pass away gracefully and give way to the younger generation. As former leaders, we can help them in whatever way we can by mentoring and tutoring them so that they can lead the nation.
In fact, now is the time for Nigerians to start supporting young, energetic, and visionary leaders who will guide the nation toward greatness. Former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar, noted.
Imumolen emphasised to reporters in his remarks that candidates for office with proven track records who can change the course of the nation should be encouraged to do so. We need to put the nation back on the path of growth and sustainability, he stated.
However if that must be done, Nigerians should start looking at picking persons who have a track record in leadership at all levels from both the public and private sector, he continued.
