2023: “He can qualify for an award of most shameless political leader of our time if he joins APC” — Chief Eze Chukwuemeka says of Wike

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in the South-South, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has spoken on the possibility of Governor Wike joining the APC ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking during a recent interview, Chief Eze, who also happens to be a strong ally of Wike’s political rival, Rotimi Ameachi, stated that though the party would welcome anyone into its fold, he doesn’t think Wike would join them.
The APC chieftain maintained that after castigating and threatening to destroy the party, the Rivers State Governor would be regarded as a ‘shameless political leader.’
He said: “Seriously, I am very convinced that Wike will never join APC after castigating both the President in the most despicable manner and has threatened to destroy the party in Rivers State, but if he decides to join the party, then he can qualify for an award of most shameless political leader of our time.”
Having met with leaders of almost all the top parties in the country, Wike’s political stance remains unknown, as he’s yet to declare support for either of them ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
