The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disclosed that it will announce members of the Presidential Campaign Council on Thursday (today).
Vanguard reports that the PDP Spokesman, Debo Ologunagba, made this known to reporters after the party’s national caucus meeting on Wednesday at Akwa Ibom Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
According to Ologunagba, the opposition party has finalized its strategy to name the members of the campaign council that will strive to support Atiku Abubakar’s election as president.
We are prepared to leave, he said. The campaign council’s members will be revealed on Thursday (today), following the NEC meeting.
Remember that Dino Melaye, a former senator from Kogi West, Daniel Bwala, a lawyer from Nigeria, and Charles Aniagwu, the current commissioner for information in Delta State, were all appointed by Atiku as his campaign spokespersons.
The conflict between Abubakar and Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State may have been successfully resolved by governorship candidates elected on the PDP platform.
