2023 Presidency: Festus Keyamo Tackles Candidates Challenging Tinubu’s Achievements In Lagos

A few hours ago, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) took to social media to lampoon some opposition camps that have come out to challenge the proclaimed achievements of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that for some days now, there has been a fierce debate surrounding certain claims being made by Tinubu’s camp as regards his role in the development of Lagos during his tenure as governor of the state. While loyalists of the APC candidate have referred to him as the “father of modern Lagos”, opposition camps, however, have come out to challenge the claim, accusing the former governor of attempting to take the glory of his successors.
Reacting to the allegation via his verified Twitter handle, Keyamo, who is the APC Campaign Spokesman, stated that he found it quite amusing that opposition candidates are spending a lot of energy debunking Asiwaju’s achievements when they ought to be displaying theirs for Nigerians to see.
However, In what appeared as a subtle jab towards presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Keyamo stated that while one candidate was busy trying to claim the achievements of his former boss, the other has been dishing out incorrect statistics to Nigerians.
