Renowned investment banker and entrepreneur, Atedo Peterside has expressed his opinion about how Nigerians feel about the situation of things in the country while speaking few hours ago on a Channels TV programme. While reacting to the question of whether he is expecting any surprises in the 2023 presidential election, Peterside said with the current renewed interest among youths, the signs are there that things are going to change this time around.
Speaking further, Petetside recalled how in 2011 the approval ratings of the People‘s Democratic Party(PDP) under Goodluck Jonathan was 54%. He said when a similar opinion poll that was conducted 2 months ago, they found out that 40% of Nigerians don’t approve of or want to hear anything that has to do with APC and PDP because they believe both parties have failed.
Peterside said right now, Nigerians need a leader with a high energy level, capacity to solve people’s problems, and someone who is ready to risk everything in order to make the country a better place.
