The financial capability of Mr Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party came under scrutiny from the public following revelations from an elder statesman Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyawu.
Emmanuel Iwuanyawu revealed how the former governor of Anambra State raised 10 million naira to organize a birthday party in his honour.
According to him, this happened while Peter Obi was governor of Anambra State. He recalled that upon the sudden demise of his wife, Obi transfered the 10 million naira to him.
Details of the claims were shared by Dr Doyin Okupe on his official Facebook page while extolling the virtues of the elderstatesman.
He also said that Peter Obi broke protocols for him by offering him his club seat in a plane to use economy instead.
The post quickly drew reactions from all and sundry as they shared their opinions on the actions of Mr Peter Obi while in office as Governor.
