“I Do Cry Whenever I Look Into The Mirror” – Facially Impaled Lady Says As She Recounts Her Ordeal

A young lady whose name is Noranate Akum Ngwa, while speaking with BBC News Pidgin, has explained how she feels whenever she looks at herself in a mirror after loosing one of her eyes during a shoot out some years ago.

The 24 year old Tik Tok celebrity, while recounting her terrible ordeal, made it known that life has not been entirely sweet for her after she partly lost her vision.

She said that it all started in 2018, when the “Anglophone Crisis” started in her country. She explained what anglophone crisis is which is – a misunderstanding between the English and the French speaking part of Cameroon.

She said that her mother was taking she and her siblings to a safer town called “Ghost Town” where this terrible incident happened to her.

Speaking further with one of the correspondents from BBC News Pidgin, she made it known that on getting to ghost town, she began to hawk snacks (puff puff) and beans to make ends meet.

She said that on a fateful day after she had finished cooking and went to deliver the food, she suddenly realised that she was lying on the floor, her head was hot and her younger ones were crying. It was then she realised that a stray bullet had hit her on the face which made her loose one of her eyes.

However, she said that she has been able to fight through the terrible days and that she is getting much love and support from her family members and fans on social media.
