Abia State Gubernatorial Election: Alex Otti Of Labour Party Finally Declared Winner.

Following days of political uncertainty and anxiety, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Wednesday, declared Alex Otti, the candidate of the Labour Party, winner of the March 18 governorship poll in Abia state.

The LP flag bearer polled a total of 175, 467 votes beat his closest rival, Chief Okey Ahiwe of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party who polled 88,529 votes.
