Popular Nigerian actress, Etinosa, has taken to her social media page to react to a comment made by singer Slizzy on Instagram. Slizzy made a comment saying that Edo people are cursed.
This sparked up various reactions from people as the singer is also known to be a proud indigene of Edo State.
One of those who reacted to this comment is an actress from Edo State, Etinosa.
Etinosa, who Slizzy’s comment didn’t sit right with, rebuked the singer for making such a statement.
Etinosa said in her comment that while others are breaking back to succeed, to make their family proud and put Edo on the map, some other are propagating discouragement and division because of bitterness, frustration, ignorance etc.
She further stated that Edo people are not cursed but blessed.
She added that despite the Edo people’s constraints of being in the minority, they have had several collective achievements, stressing that there is power in what we call ourselves.
“Whatsoever a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Let us embrace a positive mindset, so we can all move forward. Thank you”. She wrote.
