The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has said that the alleged poor performance of the All Progressive Congress (APC) is not a guarantee of victory for the opposition People Democratic Party in the upcoming presidential general election.
Nyesom Wike was speaking at the inauguration of Emohua Campus of Rivers State University, and flag-off of staff quarters, which was performed by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, on Wednesday, 7th September 2022, said that PDP should not be excited over APC’s failure, because it won’t guarantee its victory in 2023.
This is a he further stated that nobody can stop him from speaking the truth for the betterment of the country, adding that a day of reckoning is coming when every member of PDP trying to take everything for themselves will give account for every wrong thing they have done in the party.
He also stressed that the upcoming presidential general election will not be free again, said that the River State must get something in-return to vote any presidential candidate in 2023.
