Arsenal vs Tottenham highlights: Miedema brace, Mead and Rafaelle goals in front of record crowd
The Gunners host Spurs in a historic WSL clash in the North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium
Arsenal host Tottenham in the WSL in what is set to be a record-breaking fixture at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have already sold 52,000 tickets for the clash which should see them smash the record attendance for a WSL match which currently stands at 38,262 for another North London Derby that took place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The historic day comes amid a massive surge in popularity for the women’s game after the success of the Lionesses at Euro 2020.
Away from the history though, this is a vitally important game for both sides who will look to continue their 100% starts to the WSL season with a win.
With Chelsea and Manchester City both having lost last week Arsenal will be fully aware that they can maintain a crucial gap in the race for the title, while Spurs will be looking to claim a first ever WSL victory against they’re local rivals.
