ASUU’s Strike: Ahmed Isah Begins Process To End The Strike

[ad_1]

Ahmed Isah, a Nigerian human rights activist known as the Ordinary President, has heard the plight of Nigerian students who have been on strike for over two months.

The CEO of Human Rights FM (Berekete Family), Abuja, tasked all the presidential candidates to do the needful. Ahmed Isah has a plan to raise N18 billion in two weeks for ASUU to call off the strike. With this being planned out, he has asked all the presidential aspirants to donate an equivalent of the price of their nomination form.

As a way to kick-start this project, he has donated the sum of N10 million and has also asked other well-meaning Nigerians to do the same. There is now much hope for Nigerian students as donations are beginning to pour in.

The members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), along with the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Universities (NASU), have embarked on a warning strike since February 14. The Federal Government, however, met only one of their demands, which is the minimum wage arrears, leaving three demands behind.

It’s now time for the Nigerian politicians aspiring to be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to show what they have in store for the country. It’s a popular thing that some presidential candidates buy their forms for as high as N100 million.
