At a ceremony in London, a gathering of the ruler’s counsels declared King Charles III England‘s new King. The King was in effect to take control over the country after the death of Queen Elizabeth III.
For over 300 years, England’s Kings and Queens have been declared sovereign in a service bound with history. In any case, on Saturday morning, interestingly, the general population had the option to see the process in real life at the proclamation of King Charles III was broadcast live, meshing only a tad of advancement into a centuries-old custom.
Following the proclamation of the ruler, PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, via his verified Twitter account uploaded a post in recognition of the new monarch.
After the proclamation, King Charles III is booked to have a progression of gatherings this evening, incorporating the archbishop of Canterbury, Prime Minister Liz Truss and members of his cabinet, and the dean of Westminster.
