In Abuja, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, met with the governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, former governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Peter Fayose, and other party stakeholders.
As at the time of writing this report, the cause for their meeting had not been determined.
At the party’s presidential primary, Atiku defeated Wike, Saraki, Ayim, Bala Mohammed, and others.
He received 371 votes, while his closest challenger, Wike, received 237 votes.
