Groovy and Phyna started shipping since Beauty got evicted from the Big Brother Naija season 7 show. Phyna and Amaka almost had a misunderstanding because of Groovy because she liked him but since Amaka got evicted, Phyna now have Groovy all to herself.
Recently, Groovy complained about Phyna’s excessive drinking and he doesn’t like it. He spoke to Phyna concerning it saying she’s disrespecting the rules and boundaries they set in their relationship. Groovy told her that she’s drinking too much as she was complaining about Beauty’s drinking habit before she got evicted.

Phyna was angry at him for comparing her to Beauty. She told Groovy that does it mean she’s embarrassing him with the way she drinks? Phyna told Groovy that if he can’t continue with the relationship, they should end the relationship and he should stop comparing her to someone. She asked Groovy if he want to break up with her but he said no, he just needs a space and time to stay alone.
