Elections are a matter of months away and preparations are underway with a lot of parties nominating their flag bearers at the state level.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP across the various states of the country held their primary elections and subsequently candidates with the largest votes have emerged.
On the basis of this, TrendyNews has painstakingly put together a list showing PDP Governorship flag bearers in some states where primaries were concluded.
Oyo State: Seyi Makinde
Akwa Ibom: Pastor Umoh Bassey
Delta State: Chief Sheriff Oborevwori
Abia State: Prof Uche Ikonne
Enugu State: Peter Mbah
Ogun State: Segun Sowunmi
Adamawa State: Ahmadu Fintiri.
We wish to place on record that, the Senate minority leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe and Senator Ike Ekweremadu withdrew from the Governorship race in their respective states. Following this, Peter Obi surprisingly made a shocking move, by resigning from PDP barely 74 hours before the party’s presidential primaries and also pulling out of the race.
