Europe houses some of the biggest football leagues in the world. The entertainment and pleasure derived from watching the matches and competitions surrounding European teams has drawn the world closer to continent.
People of different race and nationality have become ardent followers of various leagues and clubs in Europe. Although all of these leagues cannot be brought to the spotlight, five leagues in Europe top the chart. The English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, French Ligue1, Bundesliga, and Italian Serie A.
Football action resumed this summer across all five major leagues and a few games have been played in these leagues. Some clubs find themselves at the top, some at the bottom, while the remaining are in the middle.
This article brings to the forefront sixteen clubs that are yet to concede a defeat this season in Europe’s five major leagues. Yes, Sixteen clubs have managed to maintain an unbeaten record so far this season.
Starting with the English Premier League; Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are the only unbeaten clubs in the English top flight. Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte are proving to be immune to defeats after six matches played.
Both clubs have won four matches and drawn two so far. Table toppers Arsenal would have made the list of they didn’t visit the Theatre of Dreams where their dreams got crushed in a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United.
The Spanish La Liga has also got a few clubs with a zero loss record. UEFA champions League winners, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Villarreal are the only teams in this category. The European Champions maintain their 100 percent league record with four wins out of four games.
Barcelona and Villarreal follow closely with three wins and a draw. Both teams have the same points but are separated by goal difference on the log.
In Germany, Bayern Munich and Union Berling are the only two sides that are undefiled in the league so far. Both clubs have won three and drawn two of the five matches played. However, they aren’t in the top two. The top two slots are occupied by Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund.
In France, Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille, Lens, and Lyon occupy the top four positions on the log and are undefeated so far this season.
Finally, in the Italian Serie A, SSC Napoli, Ac Milan and Atlanta occupy the top three spot on the log and are undefeated in the league so far this season.
