Chelsea stars ‘became sick’ of Thomas Tuchel and didn’t want to be on his side of pitch – Reports

In the weeks before Blues co-owner Todd Boehly fired Thomas Tuchel as manager of Chelsea, it was said that the team’s players had grown tired of him. Before he was fired on Wednesday morning, Thomas Tuchel had grown so distant from the Chelsea players that some of them didn’t even want to be on the field with him.

The Blues co-owner Todd Boehly fired the German coach in a very harsh way less than 24 hours after their 1-0 Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb. Since then, it has come out that the new people in charge at Stamford Bridge planned to fire the 49-year-old no matter what happened on Tuesday night.

Even though Chelsea’s start to the new season hasn’t been great, there were no signs that Tuchel’s job was in danger after he was given around £270 million to spend in the summer transfer window.

But MailOnline said that some Chelsea players had “grown tired” of the former Paris Saint-Germain manager, who was often a fiery figure in the dugout when he was with the Blues. Some members of the team reportedly didn’t like playing on the same side of the field as the dugouts, which are in the East Stand at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea players were also sick of Tuchel’s “constant barking and moaning,” and they didn’t like how he made them feel when they didn’t get back and cover on defense or take a chance.

It is also said that Tuchel’s body language and demands got in the way of the club’s new leaders’ plans to build stronger, more open relationships.

The Londoners didn’t wait long to find Tuchel’s replacement. On Thursday afternoon, they announced that Graham Potter from Brighton will be their new head coach.

Potter had successful stints at Ostersunds FK and Swansea City before moving to the AMEX Stadium. He is known for his attractive, expansive style of football and for being able to adapt to different situations.

The 47-year-old signed a five-year deal and will take over at Stamford Bridge right away. This means he will be in charge for this weekend’s trip to Fulham.
