Chelsea were defeated by Dinamo Zagreb in their first UEFA Champions league game of the season. The Blues entered the match with the hope of securing a win over Dinamo Zagreb but they failed to even rescue a draw. 
Orsic opened the scoring for Dinamo Zagreb in the 13th minute and the Blues had plenty of opportunities to score an equalizer.
However, Chelsea were very poor in performance in the entire minutes of the game and Dinamo Zagreb’s Goalkeeper Livakovic registered just 3 saves against Chelsea. 
Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were both poor in performance during the match and were substituted out at half-time. 
Kai Havertz also managed just one shot on target while Mason Mount failed to make an impact to the game. 
Thomas Tuchel started Ben Chillwell ahead of Marc Cucurella after his impressive performance against West Ham United. The England international was very poor in performance against Dinamo Zagreb and was one of the worst players on the pitch.
Hakim Ziyech came in as half-time substitute and was expected to help Chelsea secure a win against Dinamo Zagreb. Ziyech has been struggling with playing minutes since the beginning of this season and was expected to perform well in the UEFA Champions league.
However, the former Ajax winger was Chelsea’s worst player on the pitch against Dinamo Zagreb.
Ziyech played a total of six shots during the match and only one was on target. He failed to create goalscoring opportunities for his teammates and couldn’t make an impact to the game.
