A Manager with Zenith Bank, Nsukka Branch has reportedly been relieved of his duties temporarily. He was alleged to have collected N300 million naira old currency to change to N250 million new currency for a politician in Nsukka.
The transaction which created severe scarcity of the new currency in the region leaked and the manager is said to have been asked to proceeded on a punitive leave pending investigation.
