The Red Devils defeated Mikel Arteta’s Gunners 3-1 at the Threatre of Dreams on Sunday to break their perfect start to the new EPL campaign and made it four victories in a row with Marcus Rashford netting twice in this triumph.
After finishing off a quick break, Gabriel Martinelli appeared to have given the North Londoners the lead in the 12th minute, but the goal was later overturned by Video Assistant Referee. As the away side started to dominate, Martinelli forced good saves off Spanish shot stopper, David De Gea, but it was the Manchester based outfit who scored first through New Signing, Antony.
Rashford found the Brazil international on the right, before the £100 million man smashed a shot into the far bottom corner.
The Gunners rightfully equalised after a ball fell to Bukayo Saka in the box who slotted home to get the away side on the game.
However, United regained the lead in the 66th minute via a brilliant Marcus Rashford goal thanks to a defence splitting pass from Bruno Fernandes.
Christian Erkisen broke free and sent the ball to Marcus Rashford for an easy finish on another quick counter that gave United their third goal.
