Dana aircraft makes emergency landing in Abuja

On Tuesday, an engine malfunction forced a Dana Air Boeing 737 to make an emergency landing at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja.

The airline stated that the event happened at 2:52 PM in a tweet on their account.
The 100 people on board the aircraft safely deplaned, according to Dana, as the engineering staff investigated the root of the issue.
In response to an indication on one of its engines, our Boeing 737 aircraft with the registration number 5N DNA, which was headed for Abuja, made an emergency landing today, July 19, 2022.

“All 100 passengers disembarked safely and the aircraft has been grounded for immediate attention by our team of engineers.

“The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has also been briefed on the incident.

“We sincerely apologise to all our passengers onboard the flight and reassure our customers that Dana air will continue to maintain its high safety standards.”
