England teenager Jude Bellingham equals Super Eagles Legend record after netting a classic goal in Champions League

England national team star Jude Bellingham has equalled Super Eagles Legend Obafemi Martins’ record, after netting a classic goal in Borussia Dortmund’s remarkable 3-0 victory over FC Copenhagen of Denmark in their first game of the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League.

The 19-year-old was given a starting role by his coach, and he was able to perform excellently in the entertaining encounter.

Jude Bellingham started in Borussia Dortmund‘s midfield alongside Salih Ozcan and the duo were able to play a vital role in his team’s well deserved victory.

Borussia Dortmund football club broke the deadlock through Marco Reus in the 35th minute and Raphael Guirreiro doubled the lead in the 42nd minute to end the first half 2-0.

Jude Bellingham scored the last goal of the game for Borussia Dortmund football club in the 83rd minute through an assist from Giovanni Reyna to end the match 3-0.

The youngster was exceptional for the home team throughout the entire duration of the game, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a goal.

With Jude Bellingham’s goal against FC Copenhagen, it means he has equalled Obafemi Martins’ record, and he also become the 6th teenager to score in three different UEFA Champions League campaign;
