Ebonyi Lawmaker: Mercy Chinwo and Hubby, Avoid Unnecessary Social Media Show-Off

Ebonyi Member of Parliament Maria Ude Nwachi has warned gospel musician Mercy Chinwo and her husband against unnecessary hype on social media, saying it will backfire.

Lawmakers representing Afikpo North East in Ebonyi Parliament are reacting to a viral video of Pastor Blessed presenting a new SUV to Chinwo on his 31st birthday. Ebonyi MP expresses displeasure over the move, slams gospel singer for ‘unnecessary fuss’.

She wrote: “Mercy Chinwoo & Huby, avoid unnecessary views on social media. Don’t censor yourself. Biko.” Such a portrayal of the biblical woman will not benefit her. Their research can go horribly wrong, and those cheering them on won’t be able to help them. An investigation can come from the source and find something that is not difficult. It is very, very foolish to create presentations that require scrutiny because, if you persist, your subconscious prayers will surely be answered. A Nollywood actress would rock these sets. That’s fine, but not her type. I didn’t post this package because I felt sorry for her because she didn’t know what she was doing. Put your problems to sleep and don’t wake up. Thank you. ” Many social media users agreed with her complaints and warned the couple to be smart.

Seun wrote, “Actually, I wish she was smarter.” I feel the pain when you expect someone’s wisdom and face the opposite. They won’t tell her the truth right now, even if she’s just watching. You can tell her that she’ll think that this person is a bad beauty…so I wish her all the best.

One Francis wrote: “You know, I’m already wondering how much money her husband makes, or because they just spent on the wedding, it’s his church’s business. She should respect her peace, stop this program.”

Nora wrote: “One word is enough for me personally. I don’t like all these social media parades.”

One EKeh Blessing wrote: “Seriously, it’s okay in a way. Diggers will dig now. I love this lady so much and hope she finds a safe home.
