Education Commissioner for Anambra: Retired permanent secretary discovered writing exams for his kids

by Ebor Cletus Ralph Jr

A former permanent secretary was allegedly found writing the recently held teachers’ recruitment exams for his kids, according to Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, the Anambra State Commissioner for Education.

The retired permanent secretary was supposedly writing the examinations for his three children, according to Chuma-Udeh, who made this claim on Wednesday in the state capital of Awka while defending herself after being seen in a viral video apparently calling a teacher applicant a fool on the phone.

Even though she withheld the culprit’s identity, the Commissioner did say that he is 68 years old.

Chuma-Udeh was heard instructing the applicant in the widely-disliked viral video:

“Madam, you are an idiot. You mean the computers are doing what?

“I received a report by 12 noon that you people refused to stand in line. You refused to be identified. You mobbed and you were all trying to get into the hall at the same time.

“You refused to be disciplined up till this moment and you have the effrontery, you this stupid woman, you have the effrontery to call me on the phone to talk rubbish.

“Will you get out of my phone, you filthy thing! You really want to be a teacher? How will you tell your students to conform to instructions when you cannot stand line in line and move into the hall?”

The Commissioner apologised and addressed the matter, but she later claimed that the constant attacks on her person had put her under a great deal of stress, and she had taken her frustrations out on the teacher.
