Endorsement Of Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Prof. Wole Soyinka Washes His Hands Off It.

Nobel laureate and respected elder statesman, Prof. Wole Soyinka has denied a social media statement linking him to the endorsement of All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
In the social media post, the elder statesman was quoted to have used harsh words to describe the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
According to a statement released by his media office, Nigerians should disregard reports that Soyinka sent a message criticizing political parties and politicians.
“Professor Soyinka did NOT at any time or on any occasion issue such a statement. It is simply the works of peddlers of fake news and falsehood, who profit from Misinformation to gain political advantages. The media and members of the public are advised to ignore the message or any other political message that addresses or targets any political party or political actor.’’
