Former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Darren Bent has told Brighton’s Moises Caicedo to join Liverpool, saying they make the most sense for him.
While Bent would like to see the midfielder at Arsenal, he said Liverpool would be perfect for him.
Caicedo was linked with a move to Arsenal in January but ended up remaining with the Seagulls, helping them secure European football for next season.
Brighton could allow the Ecuadorian to leave for £80 million this summer and Arsenal is monitoring England internationals Declan Rice and Mason Mount to bolster their midfield.
Bent, an Arsenal fan, believes a move to Anfield makes more sense.
The former Spurs striker told Rio Ferdinand’s FIVE, “[on where Caicedo should go] Liverpool. That’s the one that makes the most sense. Obviously, I’d love him to come to Arsenal. But outside of Arsenal, that’s the one that makes the most sense. Fabinho’s getting older, hasn’t got the legs anymore.”
