EU signs deal with Ukraine for further €500m in aid

The European Union has decided to give Ukraine another five hundred million euros to provide housing, health care and support to those who have been displaced by the war between Ukraine and Russia.

In an announcement made by the European Union on Monday sequel to the visit of Ukrainian prime minister ‘Denys Shmyhal‘ to Brussels, the commission announced that the financial aid was part of pledges and vows which generous individuals and groups donated to help Ukraine overcome Russia in this difficult times.

This is the first time since the beginning of the Russian invasion that the Ukrainian prime minister ‘Denys Shmyhal’ is visiting the Brussels. Shmyhal visit has really moved the European Union to help out with more funds as the European Union foreign affairs chief ‘Joseph Borrell’ said his visit ” yet another proof of Ukrainian resillance and bravery”.

Ukraine has received grants and loans worth 5.4 billion euros from the European Union since the start of the war to help support the country’s financial, economical and social resillance.
