Five World-class players left Bundesliga in the summer transfer window and signed for another football club.

Robert Lewandowski was arguably the best striker in the Bundesliga before his departure from Bayern Munich. The 34 year old scored 344 goals in 375 appearances for Bayern Munich before joining Barcelona.

Barcelona were interested in signing Lewandowski but Bayern Munich were unwilling to sell their star player. However, the two club were able to reach an agreement over the transfer of Robert Lewandowski and he joined the Catalan club for a fee of €45 million. The Polish striker has already established himself at Barcelona and he’s currently the highest goalscorer in the Laliga.

Erling Haaland joined Manchester City after his departure from Borussia Dortmund. He was one of the best striker in the Bundesliga scoring 86 goals in 89 appearances for Dortmund. Haaland has established himself as one of the best strikers in the premier league ever since he joined City.

Wolves signed Hwang Hee-chan permanently from RB Leipzig for a fee of €17 million. He joined the premier league club initially on loan but has signed permanently following his impressive performances.

Tolisso joined Lyon on free transfer from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. Niakhate joined Nottingham Forest from Mainz 05 for a fee of €10 million this summer.
