For The First Time Since The Outbreak Of Russian Hostilities In Ukraine, A Cease-fire Comes In Place.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin has ordered a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine on Orthodox Christmas, which is celebrated this week in both countries.

Note that, this is the first time Russia has declared a full cease-fire in Ukraine since the offensive began in February of last year.

The announcement comes on the heels of Russia’s 76-year-old Orthodox leader, Patriarch Kirill, request that a cease-fire should be declared during the religious holiday.
