The 2022/2023 season is getting hotter by the day and Nigerian footballers who are in playing in many leagues around the world are not taking the back seat in any way. These players are working hard, getting minutes, and repaying their gaffers with topnotch performances, goals, and victories.
Lagos born Tosin Kehinde left Manchester United after 7 years, in 2018, to get good playing time, and he is enjoying that in Denmark with Randers. The winger has been consistent in Denmark, and he capped his latest performance with the club with a goal that helped them leapfrog Viborg and tough rivals Nordsjaelland to become the current league leaders of the Superliga.
When Randers faced bottom placed Lyngby, it was a heated affair as the hosts wanted desperate points to leave the relegation zone, but Tosin’s 49th minute strike made it even more difficult for them. It was a beautiful goal as he received a pass from Koplin, turned skillfully and placed the ball to the goalkeeper’s left.
His teammates, which includes Super Eagles striker, Odey, gathered around him to celebrate the sublime strike. Alhaji Kamara and Edgar Babayan combined to get the second goal in the final minutes of the game, but Tosin’s outstanding performance made him win the man of the match.
