Frank Edoho berates fans who likened accepting Chelsea’s win over West Ham to electoral malpractice

[ad_1]

Nigerian TV presenter, Frank Edoho, has berated a Twitter user who goes by the name Henry Shield for likening the celebration of Chelsea Football Club’s victory over West Ham United to accepting electoral malpractice, as he queried the Twitter user’s where-about when the West London club, in a similar manner, was allegedly robbed in the controversial 2:2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

West Ham United, in the game against Chelsea FC, suffered defeat from a poor VAR decision which had Maxwell Cornet’s 90′ minutes equalizer overturned by Referee Andrew Madley, after the VAR officials on duty invited him to check the pitchside monitor to analyze the action that led to the goal, as he found out that Jarrod Bowen fouled Chelsea FC’s goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy, before the ball got to Maxwell Cornet, the defunct goal scorer.

Therefore, Henry Shield, reacting to the decision of VAR that costs West Ham United a draw against their London rival, Chelsea FC, said, “If you accept Chelsea’s win today, you have no right to complain about INEC on this space ever again.”

However, Frank Edoho, an ‘unreserved’ Chelsea FC supporter, reacting to Henry Shield’s judgment on the outcome of the game, reminded him of Romero’s ‘unpunished’ pulling of Marc Cucurella down by his hair before Kane’s equalizer in the London derby between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur, as he sarcastically queried his silence then.

Frank Edoho said, “when Cucurella’s hair was ‘dragged,’ and Tottenham scored, where were you? Running away with ballot boxes?”
