Neville questioned the Spaniard’s choice to make tactical changes too early in the match, suggesting that the manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, should have been an example to follow.

Newcomer Antony gave Manchester United the lead, but the Gunners battled back and equalised through Bukayo Saka. In the end, both teams shared the win.

After that, Marcus Rashford made a break for it and reestablished Manchester United’s lead.

After 74 minutes of play, Arteta decided to make three substitutions because his squad was still trying to find a way to tie the game.

Arsenal now has a far more attacking formation thanks to the addition of Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, and Fabio Vieira, who replaced Martin Odegaard, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Albert Sambi Lokonga, respectively.

They did, however, capitulate not long after, and it was Christian Eriksen who set up Marcus Rashford for the goal that gave the Red Devils the three points.
