”Government Must Realize That They Are The Bigger Losers Of ASUU Strike Crisis” – Prof. Adeniyi

Professor Abiodun Adeniyi, in an Arise TV interview, has softly analyzed the effect of the Asuu strikes. And the major segment who is being affected by the strike. The Professor identified that the Asuu and the Government are together in this scuffle of not agreeing on terms with each other. But he believes the government is losing more in this fight. 

According to him, Asuu is just a unit of a public sector while the Government represents the whole of this territory. He explained that the more government refuses to solve the problem, things would only get worse for the country as a whole. Professor Abiodun outlined that over the years the system of negotiation between the two sides has not been convincing which has elongated the strikes too many months. He believes setting and resolving an issue should not be through a confrontational method that’s mostly being used by the government.

He said, ”Asuu has laid it cast well on the table, the government must realize that they are the bigger loser in the Asuu crisis. Asuu is just a unit of the Public sector, they represent the unit of a societal ecosystem. But the government represents the whole system.”
