Robert Lewandowski makes history to become 1st player to score a UCL hat-trick for 3 different teams

Polish international and prolific forward, Robert Lewandowski has been at the peak of his senior professional football career since breaking to limelight during his spell at the Signal Iduna Park with Borussia Dortmund and has been able to maintain the standard hitherto.

The 34 year old has been enjoying a blistering run of form and has also been versatile at the heart of the forward line with his high scoring prowess which he has always been proving in every team he has played, which made him a prominent figure to reckon with in the modern game of football.

Robert Lewandowski made his impact felt in the German Bundesliga where he played for both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich as well as making waves in European competition before his summer move to the Camp Nou.

He has been able to pick up his brilliant goal scoring form for the Catalan giant from where he left off at the Allianz Arena for Bayern Munich having been firing from all cylinders for the team in all competitions.

Robert Lewandowski yesterday was able to kick-off his European campaign for Barcelona with a superb hat-trick in their massive five goals to one victory, which now moved him to third spot on the all-time top scorers in the competition with 88 goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The Polish striker with his hat-trick of the night made history by becoming the first player to score a UEFA Champions League hat-trick for three different teams (one for Borussia Dortmund, four for Bayern Munich and one for Barcelona).

He will then be looking forward to continuing his incredible run of form at the front of goals for his team in their next game as they keep their pursuit going in the current campaign.
