Following the raging controversy between Christiano Ronaldo and Manchester United, which led to their mutual separation during the week, the team manager, Erik Ten Hag, has this verdict on his star man:
Ronaldo said that I don’t respect him? I do always respect him. But he should know that he’s the main issue in this team whenever I start him we lose a game.
His ego will only put him behind great players like Messi, Maradona, Pele, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo da lima etc. He doesn’t want to accept the truth that he’s old and can’t perform in a high level.
I am here to put the team back to where it belongs and not to make Ronaldo and his fans happy. My job is to get the three points and win trophies not to make him a happy person.
