The former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has taken to his verified Twitter handle to send a note of counseling to Nigerian youths ahead of the 2023 general election.

The tweet which were excerpts from his lecture in Imo State earlier in the day, the Bayelsa State-born politician challenged youths to stand behind leaders and candidates that have what it takes to promote the unity and peace of the country and not politicians that will divide the nation via ethnicity and religion.
The former president then called on Nigerians to drop their cultural and individual differences and seek ways to promote the peace and unity of the nation. Speaking further, he pointed out that Nigerians should work together and build a nation where everyone’s human rights are respected and upheld for the greater benefit of the nation at large.
