At the beginning of the Russian/Ukrainian conflict, it is a doubt as to whether as many Ukrainians and other residents, who were at the receiving end of the Russian aggression, fled Ukraine compared to the numbers that are fleeing Russia today.
This video shows long queues of pedestrians and vehicles heading out of Russia. The reason is that, they don’t want to be drafted into what many of those interviewed refer to as Putin war. Specifically, a lady said: ‘I don’t want to die for Putin’
At the nation’s international airports, the rush to get out of Russia is as serious as it is at the land boarders. People are said to be buying one way ticket with no hope of returning soon. It is also said that, majority of those leaving, are not even sure of where they are going. The only thing in thing mind, is to escape Putin and his plan to draft over 300,000 men and women into the senseless and ego filled war in Ukraine.
