[ad_1]

The Edo state All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman, Col. David Imuse (retd), has declared that the occupy movement and the Labour Party, LP, only exist on social media and as such, they will not have any influence on the outcome of the forthcoming 2023 presidential election (Punch).

The Edo APC Chairman, who made this declaration recently while speaking in an interview on the threat of the “Obedient Movement” and the chances of the Labour party against the ruling party, declared; “the occupy movement and the labour party exist on social media. How many wards does the labour party have in the country? Elections are not won on social media. You win elections with structures. For us as a party, it has no bearing on the outcome of the election. I am not even sure, Peter Obi can win Anambra state”.

Notably, Imuse appeared convinced that with what the LP and its candidate, Peter Obi currently have on ground, in terms of political structure, they would not be able to compete with the APC in 2023.
