A former House of Representative member, Patrick Obahiagbon while featuring on the Arise TV’s Morning Show was asked a question on the chances of the 3 top presidential candidates in the 2023 election where he talked about the chances of Peter Obi by saying, out of the three presidential aspirants which he mentioned Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Bola Tinubu, he said Peter Obi has large followership among the youths.

He further said that Peter Obi has changed the political situation in Nigeria but does not have the structure to win a presidential election in the country. He commended Peter Oni’s patriotism and said his Obedient movement is a wake-up call for the political class in Nigeria to know that 2023 won’t be business as usual. Quoting him, he said,

“I do sincerely hope that Nigeria’s parasitic pretender political class is learning the necessary lessons that have greeted the madness of government and I’m talking about emotionalism. I’m talking about the parallelism of phrases that have greeted the emergence of Governor Peter Obi that supporters refer to as your Obedient movement, but which I choose to describe as the emerging and fudging political Sirocco of Obicity.”

” What are these lessons to be derived from this movement? It is that one. Nigerians and particularly the Nigerian youths have become completely dissatisfied. They’ve become languorous that their estate has left them with no sense of responsibility. And that is why I drew the crucial difference between political parties. Although in an aqua political namby-pamby, I don’t see how the Labour Party will win 25% in about 24 states, the Labour Party will come face to face with political and electoral giants.”
