In-form Super Eagles star nets again for French Ligue 1 giant in their massive 3-1 home league win

In-form Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Terem Moffi was remarkable yesterday for French Ligue 1 giant Lorient in their 6th league game of the season which was an outstanding game against Olympique Lyon at the Stade du Moustoir.

The 23 year old Nigerian international retained his spot in his team’s starting XI line-up following his superb performance for the team in their previous games and he was able to deliver at the peak with another optimal performance.

Terem Moffi who has been enjoying a blistering run of form so far this season by firing from all cylinders was able to continue his impressive goal scoring form as he yet again scored a brilliant goal, to take his tally in the competition to five with only Paris Saint Germain’s duo of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Junior having more goals than him.

The host in the first half got a lead in the 6th minute with a goal from Enzo Le Fee to make it one nil before the visitor got levelled with an equalizer in the 28th minute from Alexandre Lacazette to make it 1-1, after which the Terem Moffi gave his side another lead in the 33rd minute to make it two goals to one going into the half time break.

The host in the second half of the game were more cordinated as they put up some more dazzling displays and as such got their lead extended in the 49th minute with a goal from Dango Quattara to make it three goals to one.

After every other attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful as it ended three goals to one at full time.

Terem Moffi with his top notch performance in the game will be hoping to keep the brilliant run of form going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
