On Friday night, Burnley was scheduled to meet Norwich in the Championship, and Tranmere was scheduled to play Stockport in League Two.

The EFL has announced that the games between Burnley and Norwich City and Tranmere Rovers and Stockport County scheduled for tomorrow night (Friday, September 9) have been postponed as a token of respect in the wake of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s passing earlier today.

Following examination of the formal mourning guidelines and additional discussion with DCMS and other sports on Friday morning, a decision will be made regarding the remaining scheduled games this weekend.
