Just In: Bishop Kukah’s Catholic Secretariat Has Been Burnt, Curfew Imposed In Sokoto By The Governor.

Protesters have burnt down the Catholic Secretariat in Sokoto headed by Bishop Mathew Kukah, TrendyNews has it on credible authority.
Earlier reports had it that, several protesters came out on the streets of the state to express displeasure against the arrest of some persons believed to be responsible for the killing of a christian student, Deborah Samuel.
Unfortunately, the church, St Bakhita, which serves as the secretariat of the diocese, situated along Aliyu Jodi road has been set ablaze. Recall that, Bishop Kukah strongly condemned the killing of Samuel and called for justice.
However, Bishop Matthew Kukah has been evacuated, as information has it that, he was on his way out of the state.
Meanwhile, the state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has imposed a curfew to sterm the spread of Violence. Deborah Samuels, a student of the Shehu Shagari college of Education was brutally murdered last Thursday on allegations of blaspheming Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
The killing has been widely condemned.
