Keyamo Sued Tinubu In 2002 Over Certificate Forgery But He Is Supporting His Candidacy Today – Bwala

Spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Daniel Bwala has presented receipts to prove that the Minister of States for Labour and Employment, and Tinubu‘s presidential campaign spokesperson, Festus Keyamo dragged the then Governor of Lagos State and his present principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to court in 2002 over certificate forgery.

Mr. Daniel who granted a live interview with newsmen of Channels TV on Tuesday gave this prove from a law report, a document titled “Keyamo V. House of Assembly, Lagos State, (2002)” containing the summons and court proceedings of the case as presented by the appellant, Keyamo in 18 NWLR (PT. 799)605.

Reading a portion of the document, it says that, “The appellant (which is Festus Keyamo) alleged amongst others as a legal practitioner that he has been confronted by some of his clients who wanted to understand certain things they considered important relating to their contesting the governorship in Lagos State.”

The document further stated that the appellant alleged a certificate forgery against the then sitting governor which is Bola Ahmed Tinubu and sought for the disqualification of his candidacy.

Mr. Daniel who was once a member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, but dumped the party for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, after they chose to run the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket expressed how hard it is to believe that Keyamo who knows too well about the certificate forgery later turned around to become a spokesperson to the same candidate he once fought for his disqualification.
