Kross: Money has been Relatively high in the EPL, but has not Resulted in English Teams winning all
The German and Real Madrid playmaker Toni Kroos has given a verdict about the English Premier League dominance in terms of Funds in Europe which has not given the English teams a sure ticket to win all European competitions over the last decades.
The former Bayern Munich player explained that the English side boast of funds gotten from Television rights which is the highest in Europe but this hasn’t made them superior in terms of the number of trophies won in Europe.
Though he believed that the Spanish sides have won more and dominated Europe over the last decade by winning more trophies than any other leagues in Europe.
He said: “The Premier League has not won an international title this year.
“Television money has been significantly higher in England for years and yet it hasn’t resulted in English teams winning everything. Thank God not all players look only at salary but also at winning.”
Toni Kroos made this statement while speaking on the OMR podcast, discussing his relationship with Madrid President Florentino Perez and the possibility of the Super League.
