Real Madrid continued their perfect start to the new season after matchday four with a 2-1 win against Real Betis.
Real Madrid star, Vinicius Junior opened the scoring in the 7th minute but his goal was canceled out by Sergio Canales ten minutes later. It was Rodrigo who scored the eventual winner, which ensured Carlo Ancelotti’s side maintained their perfect start.
Barcelona also continued to mount the pressure on Real Madrid with an emphatic 3-0 win against Sevilla on matchday four.
It was an impressive all-round display that saw Robert Lewandowski add to his goal tally for Barcelona and Raphinha open his scoring account for the Catalans. Spanish center-back, Eric Garcia also grabbed a goal of his own while new signing, Jules Kounde, who was playing against his former employers for the first time, provided two assists.
