Momodu Bameyi, a Facebook user, mourned the tragic death of his friend, a lecturer, who passed away in his car.
According to Bameyi, the late lecturer drove to the location where he was scheduled to teach a class to his students before passing away there.
After learning that the lecturer’s pupils had waited for him in vain, they went to his car to find out what was wrong.
When they arrived at his car to find out why it had taken so long, they discovered that he was asleep. When needed, security personnel were contacted, and they headed to the hospital. Sadly, the young man passed while in transit.
“My friend drove to school today, held departmental meetings, attended to students seminars, had a class to attend. Drove to the class but could not step out of his car. Died on his way to the hospital. He was buried this evening according to Muslim rites. Rest on Hassan Momoh. And you are there bragging?” Momodu wrote alongside a photo of the deceased lecturer on Facebook.
