Issa Naigheti was detained by Kwara police officers for allegedly kidnapping his father and extorting N2.5 million from the state.
The suspect was detained by agents from the state police command’s anti-kidnapping unit, according to Ajayi Okasanmi, the command’s spokesman, who confirmed the occurrence in a statement on Friday in Ilorin.
