Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s nominee for president, has stated that he is passionate about education from the bottom of his heart.
After officially opening the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria’s Atiku Abubakar School of Social and Management Sciences on Wednesday, Atiku made this statement.
The commissioning, according to the former vice president, was yet another highlight of his visit to the state.
“It is a honor to commission the Atiku Abubakar School of Social and Management Sciences at the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria in Kano today,” said Atiku, who posted pictures of the commissioning on his Facebook page. Another highlight of my trip to Kano was this. My love for education stems from a lifetime of witnessing its profoundly transformative effects.
He said that one way to improve the lives of Nigerian residents and plan for economic development is through education.
Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State and Atiku’s running mate for the 2023 presidential election, was also present at the event.
