Ali Dogo, a known bandit leader, and his followers were murdered by Operation Whirl Punch air component troops in Kaduna State.

The bandits who fled military bombardments in Niger to Kaduna State were slain during raids on their hideouts in the state’s Yadi, Giwa local government area over the weekend, a military source told media on Monday.
In a statement released in Abuja, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the NAF’s director of public relations, acknowledged the development.
He declared that the force would keep attacking non-state actors in the North-West.

“The Air Component in keeping with the directive of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, would continue to sustain offensive operations against these criminal elements in collaboration with the Land Component and other security agencies to rid the Joint Operations Area and indeed the entire North-West of terrorism and other acts of criminality,” the spokesman stated.
